Sorry I dont know what you mean; there would be no number you could see on the valve cover gasket that is underneath the valve cover

I haven't checked my valve covers, are you saying you believe there is an engine number on them?

I an sure there must be, but I would personally doubt you find it on the valve cover. Perhaps on the engine block somewhere? But I don"t know where that would be.
