I would really want to get one of these and mount it like on the euros. In fact, some guy on Mercedesshop has a friend in Germany and who will be going to junkyards there with Mercedes there, and look for fire extinguishers & brackets for them, trunk triangles, and other things that Americans want for their Mercedes. Generous guy. I can think of a couple of things I would buy, for sure.
I'd have to chack it closer
All I know is apparently it is not moving with the seat frame or it would alwasy be exposed the same amount

Could be bracketed on a part of the seat fram that doesn't move...
Not sure have to look.

As for clearance
I have the seat up to max & still I would like it higher
so maybe thats why it clears
Still it does seem to be same distance under seat
so it must be tied to seat in vertical
but it doesn;t explain why it doesn;t move foward & back with the seat

Oooh can't figure it out

well better gets some things done

Have a great day
