Neat snapshot!!! Now there's a team
It seems to me you are being pulled in two directions at once, as you are being called to look after your new car in the garage, while the cockatiel is resentful that you are away from him.
After long and careful deliberation, I have come up with what I feel might be a singularly appropriate solution to this conundrum.
I would suggest that you take a nice drive in the car, with the windows up and sunroof closed, and the bird riding in the carr as your passenger, on your shoulder or maybe even on your head, as you are not tall and there could be enough head room.
~~~thereby killing two
birds with one stone (sorry for the unfortunate choice of words)
.....and by so doing, thereby providing a sense of companionship for the one, and a sense of direction for the other.
See, your friends at Mercedesshop can help with all manner of problems relating to Mercedes.
