Maybe a quick drive out for an early breakfast, and run the aircon for awhile?

Sometimes when they aren't run for a long time, as like when your car sat someplace for a couple of years, isn't good for them, and the seals can get dried out, and cause leaks.--trouble in the receiver drier, evaporator.

It's very possible the car was withdrawn from service, and replaced with something newer, and the dealer refused to accept it as a trade in, by offering a rediculous price for it on the trade in (say $200) and the owner took it back home and simply parked it someplace on the property and pretty much ignored it. After a couple of years of paying insurance and license fees, or non-opped it, maybe he got disgusted with seeing it hanging around and simply donated it away and got the tax deduction for it....maybe...

Cynically thinking, that "charity" is not something you "give", but rather, something you "deduct" lol

It is hot as hell up here also. Though yesterday, amazingly, there was light sprinkles, and just enough to spot up the dust all over the car. By tues. it should by the mid 90s again - if you can call that "cool"

Some San Francisco breezes would be welcome: incredibly, this is their coldest time of the year. the wind blows over the city from water on 3 sides that surround it. It is pretty nice, there
