I love gas engines! So There. My Alfa V6 and my Jag V12 are magnificent! And I go to the Monterey Historics to revel in the pagentry of noise created by the wonderful racing cars of bygone eras.

Everyone should hear 6 or 8 unmuffled and unturboed Ferrari V12's blast by you at full song. Same goes for the '60's Can Am cars-

And when was the last time you saw a Funny Car run at the strip, huh? In the 60's? Man, you wouldn't believe it today!!

Hey, it's all good! We are living in a true heyday folks. Never again will any generation have easy access to the variety of stuff which is available today, IMHO.

So go forth! Rescue the crate which stirs your soul.
