Oh ok, I gotcha. Yea, I was always intrigued by the motorized face plates of radio units, and could never quite figure out how to get everything working together to make my own. But here is a question for you blackmercedes, I was thinking about modifying the dash on my 300E so that where the climate control is now, I would flush mount an LCD unit, and relocate the climate controls elsewhere on the dash. Do you think there would be a chance of somebody trying to steal an embedded LCD unit?
