Geesh, the color of the coolant coming out of the heater core was scary!
Up to where i know the motor mounts from a 115, 116, 126 and 123 are not interchangeable. Yu r gonna need the mounts from a w123 OM617 if you transplant a 617 from a 115, 116 or 126.
Now I am surprised to learn than the lower oil pans are not the same in all versions of the OM617.
I bought a w116 for a song just to transplant the engine in a 123.123 (wwith manual AC!!!) dont tell me that the oil pan is not gonna fit.....
