I wouldn't do it but if you are planning to do a species transformation on the 280C keep in mind you are dealing with subframe suspension. You can't drop an extra 200 or 300 lbs. into the setup. It's not like you can install stiffer springs or anything.

You could probably slip in a small V-6 but I doubt you can get away with any V-8.
