Ok I'm bumping this thread up again because I've decided to give up on the putting the two cars together. I'm in college and simply don't have the time to work on a third car after maintaining the '84 and the SD and doing homework. I had originally started this post with the intent of selling only the parts that I wouldn't be using to put the two cars together but now its all up for grabs, save a few expensive to replace parts that I might want to keep.

I repeat, I have two black '85 300D's with palamino interior that I'm going to be parting out. The engine is good as well. I'd like to hang on to it but might be sweet talked out of it as well. The tranny took a couple of seconds to shift into gear if memory serves but it shifted nicely. I will part with one of the diff's as I'd like to put the other in the '84 someday. It only came with one speedo calibrated to this diff so I'll be hanging on to that as well.
