Okay, in my quest for a tach in my euro 300TD (and I've gotten some good advise from my other thread:
Gasser tach in a diesel?), I accidentally bought a gauge cluster for a 300sd w126 body (I think an '81). The guy said he'll refund my money if I don't want it since he mistakenly advertised it for a 300D.
I realise the cluster itself may not fit in my TD, but I was wondering if I took the tach/clock out of the cluster, would it fit in my cluster? Anyone know for sure?
If noone knows, I'll just buy it and if it doesn't fit, I'll have a w126 gauge cluster for sale
