You sound like you think this is some type of performance increase? You don't "install a long block" to an existing engine. "Long block" refers to a complete engine assembly, "Short block" means you get the block, pistons and crank, not much else. It isn't a way to increase your engine's stroke, which it sounds like you're thinking.

Unless something is critically wrong with your 560 engine, replacing it won't result in any performance increase. In fact, you're talking about buying a 560 US-spec and replacing your presumably euro-spec 560 engine with it - a horrible idea.

The photos shown are an m119 I believe. Not an m117, it clearly has dual cams in the photos. If you're looking for performance updates, then don't spend that much on a US-Spec 117, put the money into a euro-spec m119 5.0.
