you have the right to leave the shop with your car in the same condition it was when you arrived. if the shop damaged the wheels, they have an obligation to 'make you whole', as the lawyers say. if a repaint is necessary, they'll have to do that plus kick in for the time you're without the use of the car. this may mean a rental, or whatever. i had a nat'l. shop do the same with my Porsche wheels. they were quite good about replacing them with recon'd units. that's what i would press for, as it's not overly expensive for them.
