slapping an MSD on a Mercedes to fix an idle problem is just a big ugly band aid. Find out what the problem really is and fix it correctly.
Properly cared for these cars will go 200-250K before Majors are needed...more then likely is your car is suffering from lack of proper/timely maintenance.
