One thing that still bothers me is the fact that the air box on the 87 300D doesnt have a intake duct next to the radiator like the 617's in the W123 and W126 had. So would it make a difference whether it had the stock filter or the "cold air" intake? The intake on the air box just points towards the fender which doesnt seem to get to much air coming through it?
They didnt add the vents on the passanger side fender until the 2.5T came out in the W124.
