1987 420 SEL (smoke exhaust)

Now I have time to work on the car. (Divorce is Over)

I have a 1987 420 SEL. With 252262 miles on it.

The problem is that when I drove it around the block. The car was smoking like it was taking on to much fuel coming out of the exhaust. Most of the smoke appeared when I had my foot on the throttle. When I start it up to warm the car, Its starts fine and Idles good but there is little smoking from the exhaust. One place that I talk to told me that I need all the Top end seals done. Another place told me that it was a Fuel injector rotary vane problem.

Here is the facts. In Emissions testing the car failed in the
HC (PPM)

Cruise limit 150
Cruise Emissions 209 Failed

Idle limit 220
Idle Emissions 93 Pass

I passed the CO% of the test.

There is new spark plugs, Oil filter change and there is a new Replacement Oxygen Sensor
1986-1991 Mercedes Benz 420SEL
OXYGEN SENSOR -- Oxygen Sensor. Univeral Type, 2 Wire

I like to know what should I do next. I just got out of a Divorce and I have custody of my son so I have had not had any time to work on the car in till now. Any help would be great.
