Pratt & Lambert used to be a favorite of my stepfather's (he is a pro).
I've had good luck with Behr so far. I had lousy coverage with a Glidden paint, except for a type of theirs specifically for door trim - it was rather thick, but covered well.

I think a lot of times, it depends on what kind of paint (gloss, semi-gloss, eggshell, satin, flat, and whatever else they've come up with) you are using.
