I had the same problem just a few days ago, and someone else mentioned replacing one then too.. Are all of our water pumps going bad at the same time?

Make sure you don't break the bolts holding the pump to the housing. I grabbed a new housing at the junkyard for $4, but a new one costs like $100... Turned a 2 hour job into a 2 day job... The housing gasket is also impossible to find.. I ended up buying blank gasket material and cutting my own. Autozone has a new pump for $32, quality seems pretty good.
