It can give you access, but you don't need to go through all that.
You just need to loosen up the A/C line mounts from the block and upper oil pan to give a tiny bit of clearance. With a little
patience in wiggling it back and forth the upper tube, while pushing the lower tube further down and up by cutting in the excess exterior seal. You can get the thing out and back in with the new seals and gasket.
