Erase- thanks for the follow-up detail and compliment; we're all hoping that the best possible solution will surface for you, and I'm sure we all feel priviledged to have these types of machines to enjoy.

Good luck with the appraisal, and hopefully it'll be up to the ~$49k. There's a couple of higher mileage (~40k+ on the odod) e500's on autotrader.com with asking prices in that range. There's a few '92's and '93's there with ultra low mileage asking mid to high $30k's as well.
