I do recycle here at the shop and , of course, have my wastes picked up by reputable recyclers. Every year about this time, I take all of the aluminum we get off of wrecked cars, and there is a TON,,, wheels, bumper rebars, hoods, condensors, radiators, etc, and usually get enough $ to take care of most of my Christmas shopping.
,, except for the wife. There is never enough scrap aluminum for that.
