Pretty damn safe. Although the 780 is Bertone designed, so, I don't know how much of an impact that had on the actual safety of the car.. if any at all. I know it shares a lot with th3 740/940 series, and they are "flimsy" compared to the 240's, but believe it or not, they are actually safer on impact because they have better crumple zones than the 240. The 240 is built like a tank though... no flimsiness, only strict utility.
