Volvo was offering after warranty assistance on the 740 motor mounts. Local dealer tried to scam us for parts and labor. Their mistake was when they gave us both invoices. One for us, one for Volvo.
Wiring harness was a known problem in the late eighties. May have been the Texas heat...who knows.
Drive trains are excellent with exception to the PRV V6 they had in the 260/760 series.
Safe to drive. Not real fuel efficient though.

The dealer issue is what switched me to MBs back in the early 90s.
