Do I feel like a goof. I have the same noise at about 2000 to 2500 rpm, & I thought it was turbo whine.

It does not seem to be causing any problems, however as I have already demonstrated ignorance, perhaps I should ask - is that whistle indicative of a problem present, or trouble looming later?
