lol you should have seen me with my first 616 engine rebuild, i had the sprocket off and was holding the chain to the left with a bar of steel while rotating the engine, Rotate the camshaft to fit it onto the gear, all you did was rotate the engine abit while you were disassembling it, dont worry it will all be ok, as long as your timing on the gear to the chain is correct, nothing to worry about, what you can do is put it on there and then rotate the engine with a wrench, if nothing hits, hey you got it correct!.
