You must also know that rust is underway on a car this old in Canada, with this many miles on it.
I would look for a '99 with 1/3 less miles on it, and $2K less in price. Also, I would buy a car from the southern latitudes of the United States, to negate the rusting effects of buying a car up there.
My Mercedes-Benz diesels have looked pristine, even with 300K+ miles, and 16+ years of use. Always garaged and polished.

This car is right in the middle of the pack, price wise. There are no 160k mile e300d's up here for 14k. No such thing. Compared to the US, e300d's command a 2-4k premium up here.
Can't bring one up from the US, short of playing games with VINs.
This is the going rate, give or take a grand. The recent work + complete records put it ahead of the others.
There is another with 200k miles for 14250 CAN, but it doesn't have the records or recent work/updates. There is another with ~120k miles for the same price, but no records whatsoever. That spooks me.
