First check the clutch master cyl by pulling the carpet down in back of the pedals and feel or look for the steel line running down from the master cyl. Is it wet, brake fluid under the carpet, No? good. That job isn't as easy as the slave.

I dont think your brake warning light will tell you if the brake fluid is empty in the aft chamber, look close.
