While under my car changing the oil in the rear differential I noticed that the exhaust had been damaged where it bottomed out at one point. That explained why my car was a bit louder than normal. I could order a new muffler assembly for around $120.00 but I was planning on spending about that same amount for some other small repairs that had been building up. So I bit the bullet, went to the local AutoZone, and spent $1.99 on a muffler wrap kit. Thirty minutes later my exhaust is fixed and nobody needs to know that my fine European motorcar has an exhaust repair worthy of my old '73 Chevy Caprice. Images attached for your enjoyment.
