Different animal than a 722.3.

First I'd drain the pan fluid into a clean container so it can be reused, and then loosen it enough to see that the gasket is seated uniformly all the way around the lip of the pan with no nicks on the seal or debris present. Then I'd try a new gasket before going to a new pan. It's a very reliable system/seal.

The plastic hold downs bottom out. Unless you shattered one I don't see how you can warp the pan using them.
