I am not sure how particular you are, but those vinyl repair kits are not difficult to use. You are given different colors, and try to match the repair area a close as possible. Then you just apply the mixture, and use heat to cure it. If the tear is not too big it might fit the bill. I know when I had my 240d, it was a major project to get the headliner replaced. I do not know if it is easier on you vehicle.
