w123 speaker grill modification

I recently installed a new stereo system with all new speakers. The 4" coaxial speakers I used didn't fit under the dash grills. I cut a hole in the grill to let the tweeter fit.

I didn't like the way it looked and wanted to make it have a more finished look. Here are some pics of what I did. I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't look as good as an uncut grill, but it's better than the holes.

I cut the pieces I needed from a plastic office file bin. I drilled holes and sanded them so the adhesive would have a tooth and glued speaker fabric to them. I used black velcro strips to hold them on to the grills so they can be removed to access the screw. The flash made the holes under the fabric more visible than they are in person.
