That adjustment point is very touchy to adjustments and it usually causes more harm than good to adjust it without a CO meter and experience. Too much causes problems just as likely as too little. You will gain something by messing with it, but it wont be gas milage, it will likely be trouble.

If you do decide to adjust it, I may recommend buying a electronic multimeter that does duty cycle so you can measure the changes and read all the many good posts on the forum on how to adjust the air meter
