This sounds perfectly reasonable. I want one asap. Even if I have to re-thread the rod and cut extra length, it's no big deal for me.

I have done this test on the first day I installed the boost gage. I can recall seeing something like 18-19 psi !!! with lots of power!!! But I know I can't leave it like this or I'll end up melting pistons and blowing head gasket.

I only want it to give me 11-12 psi, even past 3000 rpm. I'm a bit fed up of sorting out EDS components with no improvements. Imagine: I have changed intake flap actuator, EGR valve and one transducer for a little more than 500$.

So I'm in for a pressure type wastegate actuator.

Thanks,
