I am considering swapping my stock Becker unit for the much newer 7990. I have a 98 E430 with the Bose, and I found a forum in which another 98 W210 owner performed this swap, and it was plug and play.

The difference I think is going to be whether the unit wil recognize the CD changer I have (I think it is an Alpine). If not, I may just yank it and go with the iPod interface.

BUT...I need to locate one of these 7990 units. Anyone have any ideas on where I can get one?
