I wouldn't mess with the start quantity cutout... That is a setting that should probably be set on the bench and not messed with. I would be very wary of pushing this engine past stock at all, because some internal components are not built to turbo-engine specs. One example is the camshaft, not sure if the crankshaft is the same or not. One big difference is the lack of oil-squirters on the pistons. I'm not sure if the IP on the non-turbo engines is any different from the IP on the turbo engines, but I would look at the picture posted somewhere in this thread, and compare it to what the internals of your pump look like to find out for sure. You definitely DO NOT want to be making high EGTs in this engine, so make sure you have a pre-turbo pyrometer installed. Someone else who knows more about engine specifics chime in here please.
