Ford used one 2 bbl carb for about 20 years of production- from about 1958 ( after the "tea-pot" carb) well into the 1970, maybe even the 1980s.
2 bbl carbs were used on V8 production engines from 221 cubic inch to 390 cid, probably the most-produced carb in history. ( except for the Model T--they made 15 million model Ts--but used several carb designs)
