The price of fuel here, like everywhere, just keeps climbing, and is quite a bit more than gas.
I've seen diesel at one garage today for $1.375c/l, which converted to US gallon is about $5.20. Nice stuff. If it ever hits $1.44 a liter, I'm switching to new canola oil, cause it would then be cheaper....until the higher price of diesel causes the shipping price to go up, which will cause the price of cooking oil to go up....which will cause my blood pressure to go up, and my money to go down.
I think this is going to be a loosing battle. I can't really think of anything that isn't shipped by truck at some point.
