Nah I always have a slight oil residue in the intake, which has stumped me since I got the car since the oil level never changes. The amount hasn't changed so I figure the turbo seals are probably just worn a bit. I don't plan on actualy fixing it until it starts burning oil, and its going on 5 years.
Anyway I just took the entire intake off and cleaned it in a parts washer, so its spotless. I drove the car on Sunday and I noticed their was a mist residue coming from that gasket and blowing over that area. I tightened the bolts as tight as I thought was prudent considering they are just in aluminum. So I drove it again on Friday and it did the same thing. The gasket was brand new I didn't reuse the old one.
It could just be a fluke. I tightened the bolts with a 3/8 drive holding it around the head so I doubt I warped anything, more so considering how thick that plate is.
