I have got plenty of stupid tickets in chicago.... taillights not red enough, "tints" on my windows (same problem), expired plate tags (even though I had up to date stickers on them)... seems like the parking enforcement officers are the most laziest, disgruntled people in the world. My advice is to contest it, keep a record of everything.. and even if you end up paying or winning the case, save all your papers... I got a notice that I didnt pay a ticket several months after I won the case.. I had to show proof that it was resolved and I didnt have to pay the ticket..... CHICAGO Enforcement is the most crooked I have ever witnessed...
