My station is a $3.999 now. At another place I've seen diesel as high as $4.129 a gallon. Very nicely primed for Memorial Day. Never you mind that warm weather reduces #2 oil demand.....
The overall impact has yet to filter through the economy because it is the trucking companies getting squeezed. Once they have a few more truckers drop out of the business, they'll be able to pass freight costs along and that's when inflation will kick in to the next level.
