As far as importing into canada, if its 15 years or older its pretty easy to get it in,

Ive done the math, as I was going to import some G-Wagens. Its $1600 to cross the pond, then about $1000 to get from halifax to Ontario.

So the price of the car just jumped $2600, now when you factor in the risk factor for buying a car without seeing it or flying over to check it out, add $1000.

Now it gets worse, The Euro is pretty high relative to US/CAD right now, so its even less favorable, in fact some people in europe are importing cars from us...

Keep watching the market, and have your cash ready, I have seen 5 5speed 300 Es for sale in the past year. I even saw a 5spd 300 CE,
