I recall a guy over in Europe somewhere putting W116 door handles on his W123. It didn't look bad, but I think the black door handles seem match the black trim that's within close proximity to the handles better than chrome ones would. Then again, you'd never have to worry about using peanut butter again to rejuvinate greyed out door handles, lol.
