is was 1/2 you have to shave the front thought so the back seat can settle down all the way. The rear deck is nothing but metal under there. If you have ever taken the panel off for the gas tank just above the tank is the whole rear deck. In order to take the rear deck off you must take the c pillar panels off. be careful not to break those because I broke one of mine. although i was able to fix it, thank god.
