I bought a 1972 220D last weekend the engine is out of the car, do yall think I could transport the engine in the trunk of my 1980 300SD the engine is down to a long block. I would put plywood in the trunk to support the engine. Also do you think it would be ok to use my 300SD with a tow dolly to tow the car home? I would be making 2 trips 1 for the car and 1 for the engine. I have always had a truck in till now.
