Gentlemen,

I have a driver's side rear power window on my 1985 300sd that does not go up. While at a Pic-a-Part I took the window motor and gear assembly out of a 1985 420SEL. I assumed it will fit. How do I "true" the motor so it shuts off when the window reaches the top/bottom. Is there any secret handshake to get the arm rest out of the door without ruining it?.

Same car. Some people have written that a 300sd on jack stands does not allow enough room to remove old shocks. Yes/No?
