I got 24 to 26 mpg on a recent highway trip
(Idaho, Wyoming, Utah). Engine is just
loafing along at 80 mph--about 2K rpm).
Even at 100 gets nearly 20. Diesel fuel not
being what it used to be, the SDL only gets
22, and works to get up to 100. At 80 mph,
its at 3500 rpm.

And that convertible top was really sweet in the
Tetons and Utah's south central canyons....
