Then if you do a recommended test , you should post back the test results so anyone trying to help you will have some insight on a possible diagnosis of your problem and can then move on to the next test precedure.
The EGR flow test is just to see if there is an RPM change when the egr is opened Manually @ idle with coolant temp past 104F....if it opens and there is no change , then you have a blocked tube ..if it opens and does change , then the egr flow funtion is correct ,but the EGR system is not opening the egr at the correct demands from the ECU.. that could be the EGR Switch Over Valve. Which would have a first check of the vac feed tube at the front of the engine...either of these will give the code #5.
You also have to report back if the EGR is holding vac.
Without this info, I can't go into any further diagnosis..you ask for info, but you give none back..
What I get back from you is you want to know what the codes are for your seatbelts. [ pin 6].....I got news ..that has nothing to do with your engine running problems..but your EGR System does...............
Your rough running engine may have other problems too, but the EGR code has to be dagnosed b/c the DM is telling you it has a malfunction..and that could be your problem.
So....without test results , It is difficult to diagnose the problem for you.
