OK first things, the car is 1983 300d

So here's what I know...

system will hold vacuum, evacuated by local shop

won't take more than 3/4 can freeze-12

when fired up I get the following gauge readings 60PSI low side 180PSI high side.

blows only slightly cool air

Any help would be appreciated
