I would suggest against using oil that you only let settle for a few days. common method is to settle for longer, filter filter filter, slowly heat to allow suspended particles, water, sugars, etc to settle also. the ones in your trunk wont settle just from sitting for a few days. if you end up contacting anyone from fillup4free.com, im sure most would be more than happy to give you filtered, dewatered oil instead. i can offer you a trunk load.
im not sure where to buy new cubies, but you can check with any restaurant and ask for an empty. especially if they are tossing them out.
