There is also the Red RTV repair method as well. I had a baaaad leak at the bottom where the line goes into the top of the upper oil pan. Cleaned the area very well and then smeared a good thick coating of the Red RTV all over the joint area. Its been there now for a year and a half and not showing any signs of failing. Not much later had a similar problem with the turbo oil return line and did the same fix on it. A whole lot easier than trying to get old lines out and putting in new ones!!!!

Plus this is in Okla and we have had some pretty hot temps here the last couple of summers.
