You almost met the
second guy. I broke the front wheel (on Friday)-- rotated so the fronts would both be 17s, then put the 15 on the rear. Thought it would be good until Monday.
Saturday evening a guy put it on the rack for me and told me exactly what you and Luke are saying. The 15" was almost 1/2" shorter (234/45/17s vs 195/65/15s) and the rotational speeds were different. I could just tell something was wrong on the expressway. So I stopped and had it checked.
Close call.
